NEW SHORT STORY ‘BOLTHOLE’ BY PHILIP RINTOUL

A new story ‘Bolthole’ has been published by Quadrant  (www.quadrant.org.au), a leading Australian literary journal, in the July-August 2021 edition.

Gold prospectors in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, scan old diggings for the glitter of gold at their favourite bolthole. Their gold field’s camaraderie and curiosity is tweaked by mysterious Gerry and his companions.
